My toyota 92 pickup truck turn signals don't work;

My toyota 92 pickup truck turn signals suddenly don't work; but the hazard flashers work; and the headlights work

could it be a fuse problem with the turn signals: or something in the handle on the steering column?

thanx

Try changing out your turn signal flasher.it might be under your dash by your fuse box.Some trucks have two one for turn signals one for 4 way flashers.By all means check the fuse first.

I too have a similar problem. 1993toyota pickup ext cab lost a passenger side turn signal on the freeway, replaced with one from the junk yard. hazards now work fine but I dont have any turn signals. Where is the fuse located. there are nine fuses under the left driverside area of the cab; which one? could it be a relay? toyota dealer was no help and no diagram sowing a relay for the turn signals either.

What part dose it take to fix the problem with my turn signals front a back do not ?

try turning on the hazards, if they work then it is probably the signal flasher gone bad. these are 2 different flashers they look the same. you didn`t say what car/year you have so I can`t tell you were it would be located. if the hazards don`t work check fuse if this is good then it could be the turn signal switch that is bad.

Does power for ur turn signals go through your flasher relay on a 1991 Toyota pickup 4x4 truck.

Not one a 91. You should have a fuse for the turn signal and on for the hazard. Also you will have two flashers for it.

How to fix turn signal on 86 Chevy Astro Van

you don`t say but do the lights work either on the front/back on both sides.if not then it may be a fuse that needs replacing or need a bulb replacement.if the lights work but don`t flash then it sounds like a signal flasher problem.the flasher is located in the fuse panel under the dash on the drivers side.if the hazard flashers work then turn them on to find the hazard flasher by the fuse panel then you will know what the signal flasher looks like and change the signal flasher.make sure you change the one for the signals and not the hazard one.if the hazards work then i would say the signal switch is good as the hazards work through the same switch.

92 caprice classic turn signals not working, but the bulbs are fine. Hazards, brakes, etc all work fine. Any ideas?

Yes, the problem is the turn signal flasher is defective. You can has two flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. That is why the hazard lights flash and the turn signals do not. Replace the turn signal flasher relay located on the drivers side of the steering column, mounted behind the instrument cluster in the convenience center. They are both mounted in the same location so turn on the hazard lights and the one that you put your finger on that is not clicking is the turn signal relay.

I have a 92 lumina. The turn signals dont work.

The hazard lights has it's own flasher, change the flasher for the turn signals and see if that works. To find out which flasher it is, put on the hazard lights, and put your finger on the flashers, which ever one you don't feel clicking is the turn signal one.

No brake/hazard lights,have running/turn signal lights

Suggest you change hazard flasher 'can' first, then go to the hazard switch. I'm betting it's the flasher can.
