The low pressure service port is below all them wires on the right side of the cowl inside and below the battery about valve cover high,it's on the accumulator, you can't see it you have to feel for it,it points toward the valve cover! Biggest Pain Ford ever came up with!! LoL!!
Correct! On my 2001 Expedition with the 5.4 V8, the accumulator is below the wiring junction box on the passenger side firewall. The low side port is at the top of the accumulator, pointing towards valve cover as mentioned. Pain in the ****. Thanks. GM Junkie.
rtbzzz was correct. That is exactly where I found mine. It made it easier to remove the wiring bracket (which rtbzzz called a junction box). It's a 2 piece bracket attached with 5/16" screws. They're in there tight, so you'll need a socket/ratchet. I tried to use a nut-driver but it was too tight. I first removed the front part of this bracket, which was attached with 2 vertical screws, but I discovered that it was easier to see the fitting if I pulled the entire bracket off. The second set of 2 screws go into the firewall, and are slightly bigger then the other screws...although they're the same 5/16" head. It's a little awkward getting one of the bolts off without removing the solenoid, but it's doable. Just be sure when you are muscling the bracket here and there to not let it touch the solenoid! Then there it is like rtbzzz says!

That was the hardest **** to find .......... Thanks guys
SOURCE: were is the low pressure port for AC fill located
Passenger side by fire wall under some elec. connector on accumulator, port point about 45 deg. angel towards engine.
SOURCE: location of air conditioner low pressure valve
The low pressure valve on the 01 expedition is located on the accumulator on the passenger side fire wall. The accumulator is underneath the battery relay and a grouping of wires. Had to squeeze hand underneath a heater hose and an a/c line to remove cap and hook up hose. Nothing has to be removed to locate the valve just a little touchy feely. Valve faces a 45 forward toward the engine.
SOURCE: cannot find low pressure a/c charging port
It is on the accumulator near the battery ,under the starter solenoid/wire coneector area.
