I have a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country minivan. It has two power outlets in the front and one in the rear of the van, behind the middle seat. The rear outlet does not work. The owners manual never talks about the rear outlet, just the front ones, which work find. How do I get the rear outlet to work? THANKS!

Check voltage and ground for the outlet. The black wire is ground, the other wire is voltage, hot all the time. Use a test lite to check. Usually with outlet, the center of socket is voltage and the side of socket is ground. The voltage circuit is fuse protected, my info says fuse 6--20amp, in the integrated power module under the hood. Not only check the fuse, check voltage on fuse circuit, hot all the time, use test light.

Fuse six is the front, not the rear.

-Check to see if any fuse that supply power to it..? If it is then is the fuse blown or not. If it's blown then replace with new one.

Good luck

SOURCE: 12 volt Power outlet in Chrysler Mini Van does not work

im sure of a fuse somewere and its probably a large one.
if the unit shorts it has to have a fuse first thing.
you may find a fuse under the hood in the fuse box.
and then you may find a fuse in the unit itself .
the other thing is to remove it and connect it to another car battery.
if you have a bad unit then a salvage yard in your area should have one.
also test the power in your car going to the unit.if its set to run all the time then theres a fuse at the battery or the fuse box.
one other thing is check for recalls
you may get lucky.

hope this helps

SOURCE: i need to change front brake pads

You have two bolts to remove the caliper (it will still be attached to the flex hose). then use a C clamp to compress the caliper piston (one side on outside brake pad the other end on the back of the caliper). Inspect other components, replace pads and reinstall. I would highly recommend replacing rotors as well or at least having them turned. Its a pretty easy job if you have done similar jobs in the past.

Can u tell me where the fuse location for the center consolt lights on a chrysler voyager

In the U.S. the Chrysler Voyager was discontinued in 2003, but in Mexico and other parts of the world continues to market in 2004, the Chrysler Voyager was integrated to the line Town and Country, so the manuals are only available in the Town and Country.

The Heated Mirrors, Lower Instrument Panel Power Outlet and Removable Floor Console, when in the front position are fused with self resetting fuses that are only serviceable by an authorized dealer. The power seats are fused by a 30 Amp circuit breaker located under the driver's seat. The PowerWindows are fused by a 25 Amp circuit breaker located under the instrument panel near the steering column. Check there and look the label in the inside cover,
just remove the black filler panel.

Additional details cpuld find in the Owners Manual. Hope this helps.
