Replaced coil packs in an 08 G5 GT now its running even worse. like its missing or out of time. Then the service esc and traction control came on and its making the transmission slam into gear

And the mystery vehicle is?

Since you have a warning message that means you have trouble codes stored in the computer. Getting those codes is your first step. GM uses info from the wheel speed sensors to know when to activate ABS braking AND to cut engine power if it thinks you're going into a skid or losing stability. So, you want to eliminate that as a cause of your running issues. I've seen people swear they have no power or bad spark plugs when the whole time the computer was cutting fuel to correct for a false skid.

07 pontiac g5, what does service traction, traction off. This light comes on. Car then dont want to idle, transmission shifts hard and jerks into gear. What does tht mean?

This is all electronically controlled by the PCM - engine computer an EBCM - electronic brake control module . An this will affect the transmission as well because everything is all hooked together electronically .
Engine Traction System Indicator
TRAC OFF
The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the TRAC OFF indicator when the electronic brake control module (EBCM) inhibits the Engine Traction System due to a malfunction in the Engine Traction System. The IPC receives a GMLAN message from the EBCM requesting illumination.
Your best bet is take it to a ASE certified repair shop or a GM dealer , Chevy , Buick , Cadillac . seeing how Pontiac isn't any more .

Low traction light

sounds like failed wheel speed sensors. you can get around this by turning off traction control until you can get em fixed. If you hold in the the traction control button, it should shut the system down

Is there anyway to check the sensors or traction control besides the machine to hook the car up to.

The traction control sensor is a part of your "hub". Jack the car up where you suspect (car is in neutral so block the wheels) no turn the wheel if it freely turns great now wiggle it there should be no play if there is play then you will need a new hub.

Track control pop on what do that mean and can I trim it off

Your traction control switch may be located on center IP fascia. below the front a/c control switch. Pls check your manual. You can turn it on or off and it will indicate visually on the insrument panel cluster. Normally the default mode is off,(traction light off) meaning the traction system is enabled and operational. If the light comes on while the engine is running and even without touching the switch, it only means that your traction control system have been disabled because the system has detected a fault; you can still run and proceed carefully in good brakes without the traction control system..However' you still need to have your vehicle scanned for codes to know the specific cause.

The power steering of Elantra 2007

ELANTRA(XD) > 2001 > TCS > TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM
C1611 EMS Time-out failure
C1617 EMS Invalid Engine Speed
ELANTRA(HD) > 2007 > ESC > ABS/ESC > C1611 CAN time-out EMS
a7381fc.jpg Seems you may have a wheel speed sensor (right front) which has come apart and is rubbing up against the 'tone wheel' on the axel shaft.

Interior lights (dash, console, door, and steering wheel) go out

it sounds like your instrument panel cluster module is going out or your body control module.
