CD player not working on Acura 2002 3.2TL

This is a sign of an internal issue with the radio. You can pull it and have it repaired, or buy a new one. Buying a new aftermarket radio might be much cheaper.

try using a cd disk cleaner if that dont work the laser might be bad and need replaced.unless you have worked on a cd player before you will have to have a pro replace the laser of whole cd player.

Acura RSX-type S where is the reset botton on a Bose 6 disc in-dash cd player. I have a CD stuck in the CD player. Need help getting it. Everything I read is telling me to push the reset button.

This happens when the cd player cant read the disc. you may try a few different ones and see if it will start to read them again.

If you was make this, then there is nothing else you can do without being able to do a internal repair on the unit and we dont have that kind of info. You may also try and disconnect it for a few mins and see if it will reset when you plug it back in.

Keep in mind that the cartridge for the cd has bent or is out of adjustment causing the error code. It will not load the cd correctly therefore it won't play.
You only resolution besides replacing the radio would be to find a radio repair shop. They would charge you probably anywhere from $150 to $250 to repair it. You might want to look at after market replacements.

This is a problem with your car cd player correct?

dust often gets in these players and sits on the laser, you might try purchasing a laser lens cleaner at most any store that sells blank cd media.
the disk has small brushes on it that safely brush the dust off from the lens.

Try this as the stereo may need to be reset- If you have jumped or replaced the battery at anytime this will happen. You have to get the serial number off the radio by removing it or partially taking it out to see the numbers on it try not to remove any cords. With the stereo out (to make sure you get the right number off of it) call an Acura dealership with the number and they will give you the another number to enter into the stereo and directions on how to punch the numbers in. Make sure while you have the stereo out you write the serial number down and keep it in a safe place also the number that the Acura dealership gives you because if you sell the car or if it happens again its easily accessible. It's not that hard to fix it yourself.

for your 2003 TL
1. first remove the CD player (this is the hard part).
2. with the CD player removed, unscrew the top cover (4 or 5 screws) on the CD player.
3. with the top cover removed you can see the stuck CD.
4. all you have to do now is just push the CD out and reinstall

should be the same for your 04 TL but im not sure

that model is the older cd player so the newer cds are more compersed so the laser well not read it

PEO normally means Player Error Optical which means that for some reason the cd player is not reading the cd correctly.  This can happen if the disk is dirty or has a lot of scratches.  If the disk is clean and in good condition more than likely the cd player will need to be replaced.

Problem solved by removing a CD with a thicj paper label causing Error. MP3 CD's are working fine now.
