The 4-wheel drive wont engage on my 1991 chevy c1500 ext. cab. looked under the truck and saw the wires were dangling. I just need to know which 4 wires go on what 4 prongs?

The firewall is that whole area that is under the hood bellow the winshield and between the fenders. Its right behind the motor, you can't miss it. It seperates the engine compartment from the inside of the cab.
SOLINOID ON FRONT AXLE IS MOST COMMON PROBLEM. CHECK FOR POWER ON BLUE WIRE AT SOLINOID ON FRONT AXLE. KEY MUST BE ON WITH SHIFTER IN 4X4. CHECK FUSE FIRST I THINK IT IS THE SAME FUSE AS RADIO.

Theres a vacume dash pot under the battery box. It pulls a cable that engages the front diff. Put the vacume line and you'll have lights and four wheel drive. (it happened to my blazzer)
