My toyota lucida 1991 120,000 km misfires on cylinder 3.it smokes aswell. i have put injector cleaner in and changed the injector with a second hand one.still nothing.do you know any more possible causes?

i would start by moving the coil packs, take the coil pack from cylinder 1 and put it on cylinder 3 and if your misfire switches to the no.1 cylinder you need a coil pack, It would probably run you about a 100$ for the coil pack
Probably the oil seal for the valves on the cylinder head are not good,oil is passing through then comes in the cylinder chamber,when it burn the engine oil it makes that white smoke.
ok we really need more info. what color smoke is veh overheating. One thing for sure if veh is smoking you are going to have a clogged converter take a front o2 sensor out and see if the engine will rev. if so must fix smoking problem it will be fuel or oil if blueish color or if it is white could be head gasket.let me know a i can help you
