You will need to trace the wire to find the short that is blowing the fuse. It can be in the harness somewhere. Usually the harness will be rubbing against the frame parts until it gets to the bare wire. It does take years to get that far

also check the wiring that goes to your starter solenoid, if it is loos or frayed and touch the starteer it will ground out and blow the fuse also..

2007 ford freestar will fuse # 40 in the underhood fuse panel when the key is turned to the run/start position. It would blow before when it was running and cause vehicle not to shift. Had the transmission...

Any applicable trouble codes? Several systems get voltage off that same fuse. oxygen sensors-- canister purge solenoid--ac compressor relay--imrc, intake manifold runner control, has to do with induction-- breathing. And tranny control.
If it blows as soon as the key is turned on, maybe you can narrow it down by unplugging each system one at a time? That may not be conclusive, any system you unplug, there will be less amp draw on the fuse. Just a thought.

fuse, then wiggle the hanzard switch 5 times.? cycle it
they get dirty, in 24yrs. then the blinker relay model
and last the combo switch bad.

watch out for shorted blinker lamps. (over twisted, they short)
and causes the module to just shut down.
test eash lamp by hand, to be sure its really good.

Where is the fuel pump fuel located on a 1990 chevy geo tracker

old post. tracker day.
there IS NO dedicated fuel pump fuse. like 1991 to present
but uses the same fuse as ECU and SPARK
IG-COIL

http://www.fixkick.com/INJECTORS/89/89-90schem1.jpg

the orig book by suzuki (eek, GEOs) has an error
and is corrected only on this page.
in red.
btw the car does NOT run the pump key on, until 1991+.
so, you must crank it and check pump voltage !!!
same as 1996 J18 sport engine. (tricky rules no? and i know them)

that relay will break the bank, so learn to tests first.
and how. ask. can do. done many, of these.

95 geo tracker will not start

do you mean , no crank or no start? I'll guess at cranks ok , no start.
you stated, Ign. term is dead, that is not the Suzuki name.
my guess is this car is a 16valve MPI 1.6L Suzuki, G16B
and this car is EFI.
and this car has 3 power fuses for the ECU, 3.
IG-coil
FI
dome.
if IG-fuse is above the right knee, replace that.
use a volt meter on both pins if fuse, see 12v, key on>?
I guess the CEL lamp dont glow key on, showing a DEAD ECU?
The Cel must glow, if not, its burned out,or ECU has no power. etc.
ever possible no start is here.

1993 Geo tracker blows fuse when the horn is honked

If blowing fuse when honking horn you have a bad ground to the horn or the horn itself has a internail switch. Try using a higher amp fuse, good luck

Why would fuel system fuse blow in a 1996 Tracker 4 Door ? It seem's to blow immediately when I try to start the vehicle.

the fuel pump circuit has a short in it. either the wiring or the pump motor. if you can disconnect the pump motor, try turning the ignition to the on position to see if the fuse blows. this will tell you if the motor is bad or the wiring is bad. if the fuse doesn't blow suspect the pump.
