The a/c noise is either the clutch going bad and slipping which is very common on the V10. When its slips its not pumping, a clutch kit can be bought at any parts house for around $45-$50.00. About 30 minutes to put on. The other is a pump bearing going bad, which isn't a quick fix and needs the whole pump replaced, if that's the case always replace a new dryer when replacing the pump,, I would put money on the clutch...
