Hey i have a 2003 lexus ls430 and i need a new alternator, i found a website that had one for around $200 but i cant find the website, does anybody know where i can find a alternator pretty cheap? like $250 or less with out a core charge??

the best way to test the alt is to take it off and have it tested. its not like the older cars that you can do today this can damage other parts of the car computer and sensors by over voltage normal is around 13.35 - 13.5 the 2 main things that come to mind is alternators or the battery have gone bad on the inside battery it could be the acid ate the one termanal or a bad connection within the battery have both tested if you have a auto zone or advanced auto parts near you they will test them for free
