Use the lever behind the mirror! Pull it down, and back. If it doesn't work check the fuses, or the motor. There should also be a manual over ride switch in the trunk! Good luck1

You could have a faulty gauge or sending unit.

The metal frame to my 2000 Sunfire convertible top is broken. Who sells these so I can replace it?
Get one from an auto salvage yard. It should fit from a Cavalier or Sunfire from 98-00.
The price there will be hundreds, maybe thousands less than from a dealership.
There are no aftermarket sourses.

Adding transmission fluid to 98 pontiac sunfire
There is a plug located on top of the transmission under the brake master cylinder. It is held in place by a bolt on the side of the transmission near the firewall. Remove the bolt, then remove the plug. Fill it until the fluid comes out of the hole.
