I just bought the car,it stopped running, found out the distributer is lose and i dont know where its supposed to be

Old gas in a fuel system eventually turns to varnish which clogs everything up. You can't just add new gas - the old varnish and sediment needs to be cleaned out of all fuel lines and the gas tank first! You may have to replace both.

Could be plug catalytic converter ?fuel filter.

Check electrical connects at the battery , power cable to the main fuse box under the hood in the engine bay. Voltage drop testing starting an charging system circuits . Under system click on electrical distribution ,then under subsystem click on power distribution . Click the search button then the blue links one at a time . Check main power feeds . Check for resistance in power feed cables .

I suggest a repair shop that can test the O2 Sensors
& check out all your other problems

Use the distributor and electronic controls from the '85 engine on the '82 engine, unless these engines are not the same size?? Let Me know

hi if you have creamy scum in your oil then it sounds like you have a bad head gasket.the coolant is mixing with your oil if still under warrente i would bring to dealer to have fixed.
