code p1529 refers to transmission control module-communication===causes --wiring-TCM and ECM code p0723 refers to output shaft speed sensor (OSS)-circuit intermittent==causes--wiring--poor connection--OSS sensor --ECM /TCM n both codes the TCM shows and the wiring may be a loose /dirty connection at the gear box level
a common problem is the VSS- vehicle speed sensor. have you been having trouble with the accuracy of your speedometer? P1529 means the power train control module is turning on the check engine light.
P1529 means the TCM (transmission control module) has requested that the ECM (engine control module) turn on the check engine lamp. All I can tell you based on this information is that the TCM has seen something abnormal. To find out what abnormal condition the TCM saw, you'd need to retrieve the DTCs (diagnostic trouble codes) from the TCM. The most frequent culprit is either the input or output speed sensor, but there's no way to know whether they may be the issue without the TCM DTCs
P1529 indicates that the TCM [Transmission Control Module ] has requested the engine control module (ECM) to turn on the check engine lamp. P1529 is related to your vehicle speed sensor problem.
When driving the car cold
about 10 minutes later the car will kick meduim hard , and the engine
light will come on, and then it will be stuck in 3rd gear, but it only
does it when the enginge light is on. codes p0720 and p1529 are what I
got with the obd2 reader. the P0720 is for the output shaft speed
sensor. The sensor was replaced and the computer was reset with the obd2
code reader, but the engine light came back on and I got the same
codes, also car kick the same way, What can I do to fix the problem.
P0715 is the imput speed sensor is open or shorted. The P1529 is the transmission control module(computer) requsting the check engine light to turn on. These sensors are prone to going bad.
I am sorry the above codes is general error code , the error your
getting is car specific hence the codes where not there in the list:
P0715
Input speed sensor system
If no output pulse is detected from the input shaft speed (PG-A) sensor
for 1 second or more while driving in 3rd or 4th gear at a speed of 30
km/h or more, it is judged to be an open or short circuit . In the
input shaft speed sensor and diagnosis code P0715 is output. If
diagnosis code P0715 is output four times, the transmission is locked
into 3rd gear (D range) or 2nd gear as a fail-safe measure
P1529
TCM MIL request signal, this code sets in the computer engine control module when there is a transmission fault code
