I can.t find where my thermostat goes for my 97 chevy malibu
99% of all cars have the thermostat sitting in the top of the manifold with the top radiator hose going into it, Don't remove the hose, just the housing, catch the coolant in a pan, take note of the thermostat position, pull out and replace, new gasket, no glue, filter coolant, reuse, all set.

Large power steering fluid leak on 1999 Chevy Malibu. any advise? Would help a lot if I could find a link for a fluid line diagram showing which are high pressure
if you have a large leak,, its not hard to tell if its on the power side,, the return side won't be spraying the fluid all over the place like the high side does, It will pretty much just drip, as far as a diagram, any autozone , napa, or parts store can print that for you ( as well as any Chevy dealers parts dept) free. Luckily the hoses on the malibu are short so they should be easily seen

I want to know where the coolant temperature sensor is located in the 1999 chevy malibu. I havn't been able to find it. Please send diagram if possible.
one of two places.1 top right /left corner of radiator 2 on the main cyclinder head mounted on a main radiator hose.it will have two small wires coming from it.this model changed in 99 so im not sure.adrian,,,
