While driving on the freeway I heard ticking under my hood, then a pop, then I lost power, my battery died. I got a jump but could not get the car to move when I put my foot on the gas. Finally the car moved forward but slowly a few feet, now it won't turn over at all, but my battery is good. What is the problem.

At first I thought your timing belt had broken, but if it won't turn over your engine may be seized. It is hard to say at this distance what is the cause. A mobile mechanic may be able to assist.

SOURCE: sticking gas pedal

its either the throttle cable is binding or you could just loosen the clamp off the rubber intake boot. and pull it off the intake and pull open the throttle and clean the butter fly that opens and closes and see if that helps, if its really dirty with old oil carbon build up itll feel really sticky. does this help

SOURCE: Car will not start after cleaning corrosion off terminals

connections are key. if you've checked all the connections and all are tight, even the grounds and the one going into the starter, your alternater just might be bad.

SOURCE: Car will not stay on after I JUMP START

Just try to keep the gas and drive for at leat 15 min HWY if possible. Yes, it will turn off if you let go the gas, but it will restart and stay on as long as you press on gas. Just keep on driving and the computer will readjust the emission inputs and will get back to normal.

SOURCE: Car locking up and wont move back or forward while accelorating

Sounds like the transfer box locking up and if that is the problem then get it looked at before it does damage when driving

How do I fix my radio in my 2005 nissan Altima.

check your radio fuses-one under hood and another under dashboard.usually after power cut you have to re-enter radio security code to get it going again most car scanners can retrieve it if you don't have on.

I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE STREET AND HEARD A LOUD POP FROM UNDER MY 1989 GMC SIERRA , THEN IT DIED ON ME ... WHAT HAPPENED

Did you open the hood? It could be a popped serpentine belt or a broken timing chain or timing belt.

While driving at freeway speeds, my car lost power, 0rpm, and has failed to start since. fuel pressure is good, don't thinks there is any spark at plugs, plugs look clean. Not sure what to check next?

Start with the battery and jumping the car. If it does not jump or starts and dies after removing the cables it's the alternator. The brushes go bad after a while which increases in high heat climates where it runs more due to the ac draw. Big question is what did it do when it stopped? Did it just lose all electronic power? Stutter then stop? What did u try to do after it stopped? An incorrect jump could cause other issues

Can't pop hood on 2007 Chevy Tahoe

Sounds like the "hood release cable" pulled loose from the clip uneder the hood ...you will have to take a long nose plier reach up from under the car to where the under hood latch is and see if you can get hold of the cable / latch mechanism and release it that way . as far as the battery sounds like the battery is not holding a charge .

Starting problem

could be more than one problem. If you tried to start it right after you blew the hose, something could have gotten wet. I hope you have tried after everything has dried out.
Also the sound could be something related to the timing. You could have lost a timing belt. Need to look into it alittle deeper. Get more info and let's try again.
