From your question - you are missing a Crankshaft Pulley? That will have to be replaced inorder to pu the belt back on.
first you need to release the belt tensioner, and remove the belt. Disconnect the battery, and remove electrical plug on aternator. Then simply unbolt the old alternator, bolt in the new one, re-attach the the electrical plug, connect the battery back up, and re-install the belt. FYI this would be a good time to replace the serpentine belt.
