Looks like you've covered the basics, make sure the firing order is correct with your spark plug wire replacement. Hope this diagram helps.

Check fuel pressure as well. You should have between 45 and 65 psi key on not running. also check the bleed off time.. The fuel pressure regulator should hold pressure for aprox. 30 minutes or more if it doesn't bad fuel regulator.

I0check your ignition fuse, and check the ign. coil for spark. Pull the coil wire off and see if you have spark from the coil.

Hello I have a 1999 Chevy Blazer with a 4.3L I keep getting the code Multiple misfire or misfire cyl 5. I have replaced the crank sensor, cam sensor, ignition module, map sensor, injectors, fuel filter,...

Make sure plugs are gapped correctly and coil pack is good . If can't feel it missing could be a false code generated by computer . Hope this helps

1999 chevy blazer wont start turning over but not firing replace distributor cap and rotor any througts on it

first check for spark disconnect any plug wire from the spark plug remove the spark plug from the engine reattach the plug wire and set it on the fender well DO NOT TOUCH THE PLUG OR WIRE AND CRANK THE ENGINE AND SEE IF THERE IS A SPARK BETWEEN THE ELECTRODE AND ARM. if there is no spark you have an ignition problem check for 12v at distributor.
if you have spark then check fuel pressure the fuel pump could be bad.

Got a 2001 Chevy blazer 4.3L cranks but does not start. got 62 psi at the fuel rail, replaced plugs and wires, got good spark at coil, replacing car and rotor! if the cam sensor or crank senor are bad...

Crank sensor is primarily for the spark and the cam sensor is for fuel management, crank/cam correlation for misfire purposes I would also change the wires.

Would a crank shaft censor on a 1999 chevy blazer cause it to shut off and not restart

Yes, but there are at least a dozen other things that could also cause it. Fuel pump, ignition module, distributor cap, rotor, coil, fuel injector, fuel filter, blown fuses, broken wire or loose wires, etc.

THE FUEL PUMP IS BAD.

if your losing fuel pressure after the pump runs the drain back valve in the pump has failed.

and i doubt that you are seeing enough fuel pressure to run a vortec engine.

low fuel pressure equals a non running vortec
