Do you have a 2006 or 2007/08 F-150 ?

The problem section is for the 2006, which 37 & 39 are the correct fuses.

Change in the 07-08 MY for the power point fuses

Instrument Power point is fuse #117
Rear Power Point and Center console power point are fuse # 37

Fuse #18 & Fuse #20 are for the overhead power point, one is hot in run / start ( Fuse 18 ) the other is hot all the time ( Fuse 20 )

You can download a PDF version of the Owners Manual from Ford, so you can search for terms

Console power point - F37

Auxillary power point has 2 fuses (dual feed) - F18 and F20

There are fuses in the engine compartment and under the dash.

Cant find fuse for the auxillary power plug

the front auxiliary outlet is fed by the c/ltr fuse (the same fuse for the cigarette lighter. The rear auxiliary outlet is fed by the aux power fuse in the under hood fuse block. You can use a test light to quickly check for blown fuses. Sometimes you can use a flashlight and just look at them while there in the fuse block to see if they are blown or not.

Drove car to lunch shut it down when we returned to car it would turn over but not start.I towed it home look at all obvious connections to see if anything loose the proceeded to hook up a computer scanner...

Computers get hot, it's just thier nature. Before you replace the computer , make sure your security light is not on. Also check the ecm/pcm fuse, all igntion fuses, and the auxillary and cigarette lighter fuse. One of these will power the DLC connector, retry reading the computer.

My aux power points are not working. What is the

there are two auxillary power sockets. The console aux power socket is protected by fuse #4 in the battery junction box. The second aux socket located in the rear is protected by fuse #1 in the battery junction box. Both fuses are 20 amp fuses. The battery junction box is the fuse box located under the hood, usually on the driver side.

Check the auxillary fuse, or cigarette lighter fuse. You should have a description, and location of fuses in your owners manual.

2005 GMC 2500HD Both the cigarette lighter & the auxillary port (spare lighter) don't have power, I have checked several fuses but fnd none to say lighter What fuses control these devices?

If you still have your owners manual, it will show you the fuses. Just in case you don't, they are located in the fuse panel under the hood. The AUX outlet fuse is just to the left of the 3rd relay along the top row, the cig fuse is located just below the 3rd relay.

Where is the cigarette lighter fuse box located on a 1997 chevy malibu

The fuse for the cigarette lighter/auxillary power is located in the under hood fuse/relay block. It is a 20 amp ATM (mini) fuse. It is fuse #34 and is yellow. The location will be shown on the underside of the fuse box cover. Look along the drivers and passenger side inner fender areas for the fuse box. Charlie
