Try your cam/crank position sensor. Normally if its not working properly the tach will not registor when cranking. You should get at least 100rpms while cranking!

Is there a voltage regulator on a 94 montero. or a fuse that regulates the battery? i have new alternator and battery. keeps dying when i drive a few miles

When it dies, does it start right back up? Or when it dies does the starter cranks the engine over but it will not start until it sits for a little bit?

Car will start after awhile it bogs down and dies

The engine in this car is controlled by a computer, whenever you have a stall like this the computer will record a fault code for the event, you must have the system scanned to get that code, then based on the code you start the diagnostic to repair the problem, which in your case is likely a CKP sensor. But that is just a guess, don't replace anything until the testing confirms it is the problem.

I have a 94 honda civic and its not turning on. All the actual power cuts on but that's all. Is it my fuel pump??

It could be. Check to see if it turns on. Let it rest for a few minutes. Turn your key on but dont try to start it. When you turn the key, you chould hear a humming sound for a second or two. You can also spray gas or starter fluid in your intake. Try to start it right after. If it starts and dies, it is probably your fuel pump. If it kicks on, let me know. We can try some more things. I hope this helps. It sucks to be broke down.
