Some fluid may come out of discounted fuel line, so be prepared. Loosing your gas cap may or may not help? Sometimes I plug the fuel line with something till I go back with new filter, then remove plug. I don't know if safely raising and supporting the vehicle, with tire removed will help? I'd have to look at it. There are safety issues anytime you work under a vehicle, safety is your responsibility.
