Indicator problems when it rains on a Peugeot 106

There's a dual flasher that the relay sends power to it for the signals and emergency signals the flasher gives the intermittent blinking to them and yours can either be a much larger sized relay looking one or a round 3 prong can this can either be in the fuse box or above it in the dash board

most common fault is the squib or clockspring under the steering wheel .this is a complete unit with the indicator switches and wiper switch .expensive

hi Aidan, this code number is for the early OBD 1 pre 1996 vehicles , it is most probably the ignition coils, but to be sure follow this link to a peugeot forum, where someone will know the OBD 1 code list and give a definate diagnosis

sounds like your control module is going out..its expensive to replace but the dealer will do it and they can reprogram the language also..

hiya mate check the earth lead from the engine to the body make sure they are not broken or corroded

possible the indicator arm/stalk will need a new one

The first and most obvious step is to check the fuses. Peugeot did not have the greatest electrical system on the 405. If the fuses are good, try to check the wiring harnesses to each of these components.

hi there all u need to do is hold on reset button just under mileage clock with the ignition off,then switch on ignition to second turn and you will see mileage clock count down from 10 but keep button held in untill countdown finishes and thats it.
