I was warming my car in morning so I had the r.defrost on. I was moving my pwr windows down to clear the light snow off when they both stopped working as well as my rear defrost. I have checked my fuses/relays. what else could it be?

You'd have to grab the volt meter but you may have burned wiper motor out. The motor isn't made to clear snow from the windshield in any great amount so the harder it has to work to move the more chance you'll have of burning it out. Did you check the fuses under the hood of the car as well as inside the car??
Make sure your grounds are good
Could be your alternator, or battery
If the battery is below 12.6v then your battery is bad
Almost any auto parts store will test them for you for free on your car
I don't think its supposed to clear off snow, only fog or condensation. Try to remove the snow, and see if it will clear the fog. The wires connecting the defroster to the window should be on the side of the window, or behind a cover somewhere. Look for something like this:
With ya'lls perty white heavy snow,it made your wipers get unaligned, you will have to remove and reset. It's not good to remove snow from wipers when windshield is loaded, get a scraper or blower and go at it.Wish we got snow.
Change the thermostat and make sure to bleed the system of air when refilling with coolant. You should have lots of heat in a 2005 Elantra at idle or driving.
is there snow or ice on window? if so, scrape the window clear of snow with a broom or ice scaper, and of course if it's ice use the scraper. your wiper blades may have simply frozen to your wind sheild, try lifting up on each one to free it them up. you may have to lift your hood up to get to them if they're recessed down below the hood. after you've lifted them up and down twice, turn them on. they should work then and never pour warm water on your windows to clear ice or snow, they can explode.if this does'nt work then check you fuse panel inside the car for a blown wiper fuse. thank you for choosing fixya.com and also if this helps please accept my solution. thank you!
Not really a solution but, check that blend door in heater box is operating and that a/c drain hose is not plugged. (if there is ice in there, it may take a while to clear it out)
