It seems when it gets warm it wants to die but if I put my foot into it, it will go. It only tries to die when the accelerator is held evenly, cruising and when it idles. I have checked the ignition module, coil. replaced plugs, wires and cap, rotor. Timing is perfect, runs smooth when this is not happening. It also have a all new starting charging system, new battery, alternator, and soon the starter. I have traced all wiring and no obvious damage to harness, or loose conection's. All wiring seems in order.Im almost sure it's a fuel problem or tps sensor maybe. I just need some ideas please. Im trying to diagnose, not replace every part until it stops. Anything helps. Thank You

You need to clean your carborator.......your butterflies are more than likely sticking or you simply need a new one. 1994 was the best year for chevy......they had all the bugs worked out this year and then turned around in 95 and changed every bit of it. Im telling you know, If your carb is fine, the only other thing it could be is trash in your line, or even worse, in your tank.....DO NOT TRY TO FLUSH YOUR SYSTEM!!!!!! YOU DON'T WANT TRASH MAKING ITS WAY TO YOUR ENGINE!!!!!! Remove the fuel filter and check it out.....that may just be your culprit. \

Engine dies when cold

All cars are sensitive to cold .it being a new car you can turn on the ignition for say 30sec to a min before cranking to allow the oxygen sensor heater to warm so it can read properly and will help in these conditions .also a new set of spark plugs can help too.

Vibrations

sounds like a misfire, if it is 1996 or newer have somewhere like autozone scan the computer for you and see if there is any codes for a misfire, if its older than 1996 then i personally would start it up in park, then pull off spark plug wires one at a time (use pliers and gloves, dont get shocked) and then plug them back in. see which ones change how the engine sounds and how much it shakes or stalls.

if one makes a big difference in how it sounds then that one is firing, if it makes little difference then it might not be firing properly, could need a new plug or wire.

In park the engine dies; only will run if given gas

It sounds like there is a problem with the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve. Its job is to open and let air into the manifold when the throttle is closed at idle. If it does not open, the engine dies at idle. The IAC is mounted on the throttle body. Possibly the valve is clogged or stuck, in which case it could be ok again if it is removed and cleaned. Or it is broken, and needs to be replaced. Or, there is a problem with its electrical connection, that needs to be traced. Good luck, let me know if you have any questions.
