    Be aware there is also a 20 amp fuse behind the glove box and you have to tear the car apart to get to it as its on the kick panel on passengers side to the right of their feet. Mine blew just running the car out of gas computer reader read lean on bank one meant one side of engine was lean before it quit. New pump clean tank new filer in front of right rear tire and a fuse and everything works great car never ran better.

    the fuel pump relay is under the dash on the pass side right on top of the fuse its the first grey little box

SOURCE: 1999 bonneville fuel pump

There is a Fuse Relay Station under the Hood on the Drivers Side Up torwards the Firewall. The Relay is in there. Just replace it. it is Very tough to test and is More than likely your Problem and Cheap.

GM fuse boxes are usually in glove box, on dash right inside drivers door, or under the column. Hope this helps

The fuel pump is in the fuel tank. To get at the fuel pump you have to remove part of the exhaust & lower the rear end.

check the trunk along the wall gm did that for a brief moment also check the regular fuse panel it may not be that big of a relay may look like a regular fuse. almost like a flasher.

All relays are located at the center rear of the engine compartment, below the left side under-hood fuse block (behind the maxi-fuse/relay center cover). There should be a diagram under the cover, that will direct you to the relay you seek.

Need to find the location of the fuel pump relay on a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am, not sure it is bad, but getting no fuel and would like to check before taking out the fuel pump.
The relay is in the fuse box under the hood. It's labeled under  the cover of the fuse box lid, it's a micro relay and i think it's #18 and the injector, fuel pump is #48. Double check that though, good luck and keep me posted.
