Is it possible to convert a mazda rx8 to lpg
I checked up on this and the answer is no due to the way the rotary engine works
It is possible. Ours in the U.K. was converted at 57,000 miles and has now covered 91,000 miles without issue. It was converted by www.hardysrecovery.co.uk All rotaries can run on it, its just the ECU in the Rx8 which was the biggest issue to overcome, the Egas ECU works alongside the Rx8 one in our car. Phil
I don't see this as a problem and have seen many injected cars with the latest computer controlled LPG injected systemsworking together. Mazda run it on Hydrogen and that a gas as well

It is possible but you need ceramic seals etc. The other issue is that here in aussie land we have to comply with the new laws and the kit must be certified and none have been certified for the rx8.
