First make sure that the rear wiper is parked all the way down in the receptacle on the door, if the wiper is not down all the way for some reason the window will lock. Next check the motor itself by removing the rear inner panel and the metal plate, apply power from a 12 volt source directly to the motor, unplug it and ground one side and power to the other, the reverse connections if there is no response from the motor replace it, if the motor works this way a common problem is the back door ECU.

Replace the 15 amp ACC fuse that is in the fusebox under the dash. See if this eliminates your problem.

You obviously posted more than once, I answered the other one.
SOURCE: rear window wont go down
Likely, is electrical. The switch is relatively primitive and could be a loose connection there or on the motor itself. I've commonly run into the wiring shorting where it enters the tailgate. Thats obviously not going to be easy to reach with the window up, but you can remove the panel from inside the back and get to the motor and all. Best bet is to expose te wires to the switch and see if they are still in circuit with an ohmmeter. If they are, the motor is likely bad or jammed, if not...you have to find the short somewhere. Hope this helps

the fuses for the windows will be in fuse box, it sounds like possible water intrusion, the fuses should all be marked, if they are all good, you may have to remove the door panel to check for any damage at door switches
