It is on your exhaust pipe-most vehicle have at least 2 o2 sensors so you need to find out which one is bad
ex-o2s1/o2s2/ho2s1/ho2s2

PCV vavle on 1997 olds 88

If that plastic piece is black plastic, you need to turn it and lift it up to get under it. The valve should be inside manifold under a round black plastic cap that turns about ¼ turn.
