I have a 93 saturn sc1 im trying to replace the fuel filter on however i cannot get the fuel line to release even with the plastic clips is there another tool i need?
All you should have to do is squeeze the plastic clips together, you may need a pliers. Another thing that helps is spray some WD-40 in there and rotate the filter on the line a little.

A fuel pressure regulator is located on the injector rail. It generally looks like a round chrome or black diaphragm with a vacuum line attached. This is what controls the amount of fuel the injector get. They are fairly simple to replace, just shut off the car, make sure that you have released all the pressure in the fuel rail and then remove the regulator by removing the 2 (Generally 2) mounting screws and the vacuum line. Re install in reverse order and that's it.
well the fuel filter is under the car near the gas tank,,,just disconnect the fuel lines and evap line , they are quick disconnect fittings you squeeze the 2 tabs together ans pull the line out,,,,then remove the 2 10mm nuts that hold the fuel filter housing to the body of the car,,,,thats it,,,the lines are different sizes so you can not put the wrong line and the wrong line,,,,but before you do anything release the fuel cap to release the fuel pressure and i would let the car sit before doing this
Try pulling the engine coolant temp sensor, They often crack not sure
why but the ceramic tip cracks makes the car hard to start, the car's
idle may race while shifting gears, and often smokes. The sensor is on
the right side of the engine when looking at it on the head. Easy to
change and get too

Under the car, by the fuel tank. Drivers side, just in front of the rear wheel. It also houses the fuel pressure regulator. It is expensive, and has a 100,000 mile replacement interval.
