Sounds like a vacuum leak. If it only tries to die when the brakes are applied its probably a vacuum leak. Try testing it in park at home. Its much safer to touble shoot brake problems at home away from traffic. Look for loose hoses. Weird sucking sounds can be a good indicator too. Have someone else push the brake pedal while you look. If you can't see anything obvious get it to a mechanic asap. Before someone gets hurt.

it appears you have electronic throttle control. any applicable trouble codes, relating to that system? clean the throttle bore and around throttle plate, don't force the throttle plate. your idle air is electronically controlled.

Shakes and dies when RPM goes below 1

intake idler unit needs cleaning unit is on the side of the intake not the one that controls throttle the other one. remove and clean out. or spray carb cleaner in to clean out. also clean the connectors on the wiring. should be fine after that, if not you will need to remove it and give it really good clean out.

Idles roughly, then low when stopped or in park, then dies. Decreasing gas mileage. Slow to accelerate

Sometimes that's caused by a vacuum leak near the manifold area.

Sometimes air in the coolant will cause an idle problem. Air will keep the air temp sensor from sending proper info.
Hope this helps.

Sounds like the Idle/Air Control Valve is bad. If you are able to remove it, you may find that it has some dirt or build-up in it and be able to clean it for it to work. This would more than likely be a temp. fix. Chances are you'll have to buy a new one.
