You brakes will still operate with the abs light on. Most likely you have a wheel sensor issue. Have the vehicle scanned and it should pinpoint which sensor is causing the light to come on.

ABS I'd first have it checked I'd say it's a faulty ABS sensor hope this helps but please have it seen to for your safty

Check speed sensors on the front.Clean them with a non chlronated brake cleaner this most likely the problem.

All the computers on the car are linked together. The ABS can trigger the service light on some applications, ie speed sensors. You can still drive, but you wont have ABS, meaning if you brake hard enough or in gravel the tires can lock up and skid.

HAVE CAR ABS BRAKES CODE SCAN.BECAUSE WHEN ABS LIGHT IS ON.YOUR CAR ABS BRAKES NOT WORKING.CHECK ABS BRAKES FUSE AND RELAYS.IF ALL IS GOOD.HAVE DEALERSHIP OR GARAGE CHECK ABS BRAKE SYSTEM BECAUSE ABS BRAKE UNIT IS PART OF THE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER IF KEEP DRIVING COULD END UP WITH BRAKE FAILURE.CAR NOT SAFE TO DRIVE WHEN ABS OR ANY WARNING BRAKE LIGHT APPEARS.

On occasion an ABS light will come on when a brake light is out. So check your brake lights first. Your ABS light is on because there is a malfunction in the ABS system.
