1990 Nissan 4X4 pickup? The blower motor, gas&temp gauge, 4wd indicator light all stopped working at the sametime. Happened a time or to and came back now it has not worked in days. I have exterior lights and truck runs and drives fine? Wipers seem alittle slow? Battery seems fine no lag at all when turned over. What is the most likely cause and fix. Thanks PS at first it only seemed to happen when below freezing and then when the outside temp came up they would come back not the case now

Bad timeing belt, or spark timing system. Last time serviced? Maybe time to take in. let them diagnose.

4wd indicator light switch

Hey Alton,may be the wire on it is short cause your transmission has leaked on it,how I know,I have a 85 nissan 720 4x4,and it happen to me,the green 4x4 emblem on dash worked part time,it's mounted at top of transmission,need a mirror to see,just need to disconnect wire and wipe oil off and wrap with tape real good.Here'a video of my rig.Send me a picture of yours.

Temp gage and fuel gage will stop working at the same time, then will start working at the same time.

you need to change the fuel gauge, fuel gauge goes bad so does the temp gauge, runs thru fuel gauge then to temp

All of my dashboard gauges except the gas gauge have stopped working on my 1997 Nissan pick up, it's a 4WD, 4X4, Manual Transmission, 4cylinder ext. cab. The battery light is also coming on intermittantly....

need to check fuse for the dashboard, and fan belt for unspecified tigthness.

Heater fan stopped working. was working one day I went to turn it on the nezt day and nothing. Pulled on A/C switch indicator light comes on but no fan. Also is the fuse defogger the fan fuse? If not...

test blower its self and test that power is getting there (im thinking blower motor resistor)

I have a 1986 nissan d21 hardbody.My gas gauge and temp gauge quit at the same time.After awhile then started working again.Then they went out again. Nothing else but those two gauges.Anyone got help?

check or replace battery terminals, I replaced my terminals

Broken Timing belt

this is an interference motor, if cranked the valves will come into contact with the piston and cause major damage. Its very possible that valves may have bent(worst case). Have the belt replaced and engine pressure tested. Hopefully its not the worst case.

Have you checked your relays? If a relay is shorting it will cause the fuses to blow.

Trace your wires from your heater. Check your fuses also, the heater wire likely shorted into the ground for the gauges or vice-versa. You have to have some wires rubbing together under the dash somewhere.
