I have a 2000 Oldsmobile Bravada. When I start the vehicle, it runs for a few minutes, then the starter engages again, while still running. I can turn off the car, restart it and after a few seconds the starter engages agian, staying engaged this time. Can you help me find with this problem?

If its a crank but no start, i would put money on it that it is your fuel pump, ive put two in my 1999 bravada, they have updated fuel injectors too (recomended), i changed injectors all the way to the pump fully new fuel system and it runs just fine now. go to ur local junk yard and pay about 50 bucks for a used one and see it if doesnt help... i would recommend trying a used one befor u spend 300 on a new one. good luck

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
Fig. 1: Unfasten the starter motor electrical connections. You may want to tag them first to avoid confusion

possibly, but the most common problem is the engagement motor located on the rear of the transfer case. Motor looks like small wiper motor and can be replace fairly easily.

This is a HUGE job that will require mechanical skills and a goo repair manual. This question can not be answered in it's entirety in this post.

Probably the transfer case encoder motor. Unplugging it at the wiring harness should make the "service awd or smart trac" light come on. This will tell you the awd controller module is probably OK. Common failure item to Bravada's. Try "thepartsladi" eBay store for lowest price motor, beware aftermarket!!! Also make sure transfer case fluid is "blue" GM Auto-Trak II only! If not bllue when checking change twice after driving for a week with blue fluid.
