You have to take the head off, get it decked at a machine shop so that the surface is true again, then put the head back on according to the correct torque requirements. Make sure you get a multi-layered metal head gasket. They are cheap on eBay.

You can get lucky if you did not overheat. The correct thing to do is get the head decked though.

SOURCE: i changed the head gasket on my 92 honda accord

I hate to have to say this, like a 9-mile long skid of nails on the chalk board -- But -- are you Absolutely positively certain ((with no doubt what so ever)) that the head gasket was not inverted when replaced? Some vehicles have tiny holes which may need alignment..
Are you certain it is not getting fuel? have you tested the fuel pump?Certain no wires (such as to the fuel pump) were not re-hooked up again?
Alternatively, it is always possible an electrical wire to an injector could have gotten pinched/ shorted. Carefully re-inspect **EVERYTHING** -- *PIECE - BY - PIECE* first, Take plenty of time to be as thorough as possible on a re-inspection before ripping this puppy back apart again...
Best regards

My have a blown head gasket on my 2000 Honda Accord V6. What could have led to this problem?

most common causes of blown head gaskets are engine overheating. could be caused radiator cooling fans inoperative, cooling system leaks, clogged radiator passages,or sticking thermostat. if a head gasket is severely blown the cooling system will pressurize very rapidly on cold engine startup. other more rare cases of head gaskets blowing could be loose head bolts. make sure new head bolts are used and torqued correctly if service manuals recommend new head bolts.

My 92 accord takes too long to warm up at idle but i am worry about the white smog

You have a leaking engine cylinder head gasket, that is the cause of the smoke and long warm up.

My 92 Honda Accord keeps overheating, losing fluid but I cannot find a leak. Any suggestions?

check the oil and see if it looks like a mocha, creamy looking... Is the vehicle smoking? Is the radiator hoses holding way to much pressure? Try to fill the radiator with water and leave the cap off..... look for bubbles, if it warms up and bubbles are present or smoking when hot with radiator cap on and hot or creamy oil..... Head gasket....

I have a 92 Honda Accord, what causes oil around the spark plug. and how do I fix it. Would it also mke the vehicle run bad?

1. Worn or broken rings on that cylinder
2. Valve guides or seals worn on that cylinder
3. To fix the rings you will have to remove the head and sump (Remove the motor from the car if you cannot remove the sump with it in the car)
4. Yes it will make your car run bad

I have a 92 honda accord and it seems to run through water fairly quick. there are no leaks that i can see..what seems to be the problem?

My Civic has 7 or 8 hoses to distribute coolant and some were in some pretty difficult to see spots. If your Honda is similar then there may be a hose leaking that you missed. There is also a bleeder valve to get the air out. If you didn't bleed it the last time you filled the radiator you will have the air pockets eventually get pushed to the radiator so it will LOOK like you are losing water. Also freeze plugs (assuming you have them) might have sprung a leak somewhere and they are always difficult to locate.

If it's the head gasket you can also use a vaccum tester and a cylinder leak down tester to further evaluate the condition of your head & valvetrain before tearing your engine apart. Good Luck

Changing valve cover gasket on 92 honda accord EX 4 cyl...

no and should be easy compared to what your used to.  Just put a small dap of silicone at the 4 points the cam bearing caps meet head(don't remove the caps) you will see what I mean when you get into the job. I also recommend distributor  o-ring they leak often and  are also fairly easy. just mark the dist. It will only go in 2 ways it has tabs to align it not gears.
