Neutral or park switch maybe need to check starter wire from ignition switch to starter see if you are getting power to starter
quick way to do it is headlight s on turn key if lights dim then the power is going to starter
check starter good luck
The battery can be run down and lights still work. but you should be getting a click at the starter.when you try to start the veh. First check connections a the battery pos.side . and ground side for being clean and tight. Then check pos. cable all the way to the starter and at the starterwhere it bolts up. For the same thing. Check the grond cable at the connection on the engine clean and tight.if all that is ok jump veh. with someone tapping starter with a hammer if it starts replace starter. THANKS TIM

This could be something simple. Your starter draws far more power than anything except for the a/c clutch (not in play here) Since all accessories are functioning, it's likely that the battery terminals are oxidized. A high-draw item will actually break the connection temporarily. This condition will also change with humidity and temperature. Remove them and use a small wire brush or sandpaper to clean the battery posts and the inside of the connectors on the wires themselves. If you have done this and still have a problem, then you should start looking for other larger problems.
Good luck
