How are you determining that it's over heating ? Temp. Gauge ? Do the cooling fans turn on ? 5 different mechanics ? Did any of them hook up a scan tool , to see what the coolant temp is . Use a inferred temp tool to see what it shows for temp.
How do you know it's over heating ? Are you going by just the temperature gauge in the instrument ? or is the engine making strange sounds ! Sometimes the temp. gauges go bad or the coolant temp. sensor , making you think it's over heating when in fact it's really not !
hi the temp gauge should sit in the lower quarter of the gauge, it has to be a faulty water temp sensor as anything else would cause it to over heat badly
Because you have done so many repairs already I would most likely say that the gauge is defective. I would use a manual temp probe and probe the coolant temp after the car has reached operating temp. Coolant will be between 180- 230 degrees. If coolant temp checks out and you can see coolant moving in radiator and the vehicle does not overheat then you will need either a gauge or a coolant sensor. To locate the sensor it should either be mounted in the thermostat goose neck housing or the intake manifold.
Why do you need to know where the temp sensor is. It sounds like it is working properly. Check for thermostat not opening completely, or a clogged radiator.
