Hi i have a 1995 cutlass supreme and it wont start up without a jump what could it be?

So your saying the trans gave up & is slipping?

it sounds like a faulty electrical ignition /neutral saftey switch mounted on the transmission by the shift cable

i would check fuel pressure and injectors from what ur describing i said ur injectors r going bad

hi you need to lock all doors and open driver door with key to reset security don

Have the battery load tested, probably needs new battery.

the most common problem with this style pass key system is broken wires at the lock cylinder which will require replacement of the lock cylinder

Have your starter checked, or also check battery connections:)

hi there the things to check are do you have a spark at the plugs?
do you have compression ?
are the cam shafts turning?
is the cam belt intact?
this are all needed to make the engine run it will turn over great but not start with this things not working infact if the last 3 are not there it will sound diffrent when you are turning it over with the key.

are all wires, and battery cables clean and tight, if so check for a bad ground in charging curcuit.
