Recently i notice my abs light coming on and staying on..now i switch of the car for 1hr after it came off...and then like a day after it came back on..now i know abs is dealing with the brakes but abs light on the dash..help me out here
Abs comes on when the speed on the wheels are from one another,different by over one mile an hour. It is sensors that measures this you have one on each wheel. Sounds like you have one sensor going bad. You will have to hook a computer up to it to find out which one

Check to see if the plugs on the wheels are plugged in check that the pins are all the way into socket, that your ABS problem, next check to see if you knocked loose the wire on the differential most likely cause and be sure to top off power steering fluid. The back up lights are turned on by the transmission range selector switch, this is the switch that moves with the gear selection arm at the transmission, unplug the switch (large multi wire connector) and if the backup lights go out the switch has shorted and needs to be replaced, one question why don't you just remove the backup light bulbs until U install the new part??
