Yes it will be a little more than just the timing belt but it will save money if the pump goes bad later-when the pump leaks it will leak onto the timing belt and need replaced again
so yes i would do them at the same time
I disagree.. All the posts show that replacement pumps seem to go bad. I say do the timing belt and leave t a good water pump alone

If it is running perfectly I wouldn't think that you would need to replace the timing belt. You shouldn't need to replace that until 100,000-120,000 miles. I would definitely hold off until now unless you have start having some timing problems. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for rating my response and for using FixYa!

Hello Sir:
Your Timing belt can fall under Preventive maintence, With your Mileage Being 82,000 Miles, Just to Make sure your not in risk of being Broken Down. I would go a head and Replace it if Nothing else just knowing that your Good to go as Far as the Belt Slipping or Breaking.
As Far as the Waterpump if you have Kept Coolant in your Cooling system and have not had any Overheating Problems,And NO leaks are Visable.
I see no Reason to change out your water Pump,However since you are asking if you should change it,Again Just to Know that your pump will be new and no worries, If you Change Out Your Waterpump, Also ,Put new Coolant anf Change your Thermastat.
Also Inspect You Radiator Hoses and Hearter Hoses ,to see it the are showing cracks or are not Hard. You should beable to Open your Radiator Cap(when Cold) and Just apply Pressure on Your Hoses to see if they are Still Soft .Also check your Fan Belt(Serpitine belt) I recommend you Chane it about every 25,000-30,000 Miles.
I hope i've Given you the Solutuons you Need .Please let me Know by Voting on the Quality of my Solutions;
