A simple circuit looks at the voltage that the alternator is producing, and turns thebattery light on if it is low. The battery light indicates a battery charging problem.
Usually the car has an ac alternator with a built in rectifier ,so if u have good hands replacing rectifier will cost u maybe 15$ and new alternator maybe 150$ or more
If the battery dash light remains on, it is a strong indication that you have a recharging issue. The new battery will only work if the alternator keeps it charged well. My suggestion would be to take your car to a mechanic and have your alternator tested.
Lightning symbol is an electrical indicator. Check alternator and battery to be sure they are in proper operating condition. Sounds like it's not producing enough charge to run the vehicle and all the electronics so it's cutting fire off to the engine.
I am not familiar with your vehicle, Ive never heard of it. However a lightning bolt symbol would probably indicate a problem with your electrical system, possibly the battery or alternator.
yes it is the battery, was it a little cold out this mornin??? cold weather usually exsposes the bad batteries in vehicles, and sometimes there is no warning but your battery is old and should be replaced, hope this helps
If your alternator is going bad the battery indicator light will come on your dash. I did the same thing before thinking my battery was bad and buying a new one. Turns out it was the alternator. Hope this helps..
