Hi my r990 radio comes up with land rover then code. I have the security code but Im unable to enter the code into the radio. can you help

Go to the dealer

You will need to enter the theft deterrent unique security code for your VIN and radio serial number given to you at he time of purchase of the new vehicle.

CHECK ON YOUR SERVICE PORTFOLIO FOR THE CODE OR CONTACT THE NEAREST LAND ROVER REPRESENTATIVE AROUND YOU.

Take your Land Rover to a L/R dealer they will obtain the VIN from the vehicle and search their archives and should be able to pass on the radio code if radio is correct for the vehicle some radios require removal from the vehcle to obtain numbers from the frame. hope this is helpful.

i think your radio has power problem.
please check the radio fuse on fuse board if its good please ask for repair electronics technician to fix power problem of your radio.
it can be the failure of sound output cct or power regulater cct .

the radio code IS 4 DIGITS.you will have to go back to the dealer,otherwise buy a system without a code.......

Thanks buddy, here we go, Model MOD8691R1 Serial no : 277010962.5 Voltage DC 12V negative ground speaker impedance 4 ohm ( in case electrical specification will be needed.) If it's the original radio, then the landrover dealer will sort it, via the database. reg number, and vin number usually required. But check in the info wallet that should have come with your car, it's usually stored in there, on a security card.
