1991 Mitsubishi Mighty Max 2D 4X4 V6-(FUEL INJECTED) Hi, My truck is basically the same thing acts like its starting but it wont start. Its getting gas (i know this because i took off the fuel pump hose off the motor and it is spraying) So the pump is working (but i dont know if its pumping enough) I also put gas in the air filter hose it did pop! Now im going to try replaceing the fuel filter, if that doesent work i will check the injectors. then a fuel pump if needed. I understand that this truck needs fuel pressure so i dont know if its getting enough pressure. Please help! Thanks!
My Truck it doing the same thing. Have you checked the injectors? I heared it might be the ECU Engine Control Unit look that up and let me know if you get ony more info.

Always have a fire extinguisher right there handy !! sound like no gas . change the fuel filter.. or carefully pore a small amount of gas in glass about a shot glas full and dump it in the air filter hose or TB and try starting it. SNAP OR PARTS MASTER CARB OR BREAK CLEANER IN THE SPRAY CAN WORKS WELL about a 3-4 second spray.. I DON'T LIKE STARTING FLUID IT CAN DAMAGE YOUR MOTOR, ITS MADE FOR BONE CHILLING WEATHER.. SPEAKING OF WITCH DO YOU HAVE THE RIGHT WEIGHT OIL ? IF ITS COLD AND THE OIL IS TO HEAVY ITS NOT GOING TO START . IT WILL TRY BUT GO. I HAVE SERVED MY TIME IN MINNESOTA . NOW IN FLORIDA I USED MOBILE ONE IN BOTH STATES AND FIND IT TO BE THE BEST TRY 5-20 MOBILE 1 OLDER CARS 15-50

ok I tried the startign fluid anf that didn't work, I have 20-50 oil in it right now. any other suggestions?
