1995 Maxima turns over, but won't start. Help!!!

My 1995 Nissan Maxima won't start. It turns over and tries to start, but won't. I have replaced the fuel pump, checked the relay switch (it is fine) and the battery is fully charged. Can anyone give me advice as to what might be the problem? I am a female. I am by no means a mechanic. Thankyou!

Have someone remove the fuel filter and turn the engine over and see if fuel is getting through.

So the problem has been occuring for a year and you are just now trying to fix it? Sorry, I just simply do not understand why people do this...keep driving it until it won't drive anymore even though you KNOW it has a problem....Maybe you can explain this to me???

If you can hear the starter clicking when you try to start it, then you have a bad starter. If it makes no noise at all. then you most likely have a bad clutch switch.

My nissan maxima will not start

Check timing belt. Shoot a timing light down at your crank. If the timing mark jumps around bad, your belt has slipped.

95 maxima hard to start

Remove the high tension cable to the distributor from the ignition unit. Conduct a spark test. If there's no spark, try to replace the ignition coil or the igniter.
