I need a diagram for the wiring harness in a 1995 jeep yj 4 cyllinder. I changed the engine and it will not start. There is no power coming to the coil. The ignition switch is okay, it is sending power from inside the car but it is not getting to the coils. What do I have to check?
Sounds like you are working on a car FSM free?
why do that?

i just bought a used 97 CHEROKEE but i had the same problem, when i got to looking at it i found out the front driveshaft was shot, look at that, if its not it i would say its probably the transfer case especially with an older vehicle like that which is a very expenxive repair

It would be great if you could find the Ignition Control Module!!! From my experience on my Jeep...90 YJ 4.2 liter carb. it does not have one...Computer controlled only...

If you need to ask, you have never done one. I suggest that you get a chiltons or haynes manual to guide you through it. tips are: use large bolts without heads to guide the transmission back onto bellhousing so you don't need to hang the unit on the clutch disc and risk bending it. Change the pilot bearing in the back of the crankshaft if it's the least bit worn, be very careful not to damage the crank sensor on the bellhousing, and use a good pilot shaft when aligning the disc inside the clutch cover. spread some white lube on the input shaft and front guide collar on the transmission and make sure the throwout bearing has sufficient grease in the inside groove.
good luck!!!

try changing spark plugs, servicing the fuel system, air filter, ignition system, oil and filter.try doing a compression test to see how the engine is doing
