There are 2 relays for the blower. The low blower relay and the high blower relay. They are both located
under the hood in the center of the firewall.
The low will have 4 wires from it, one lt. blue and 3 brown. The high will have 5 wires 1 purple(to blower mtr.) 1 black 1 dk blue 1 red and 1 orange.
Also, the blower resistor is in the same area if needed. Hope this helps.
This not true if the car has Electronic Climate Control. as mine does. In the Fuse center (under the hood) where the two blower relays should be that you just mentioned, there is nothing. No relays. But there is a place for two relays. So something else is in the works when there is Electronic Climate Control. Wish I knew. Have replaced Blower motor Resistor and the Blower motor. No luck. $219 down the drain and no heater
Hi, just a surfing contributor here. First, you can easily check the blower motor by simply unplugging the connector, then using a couple of jumper wires, use a single 9v battery. If she spins, the blower motor is ok. THE PRO LET I FOUND was in the other side of that connector. The contacts had lost some of their "springiness" and failed to make a consistent solid contact. I ended up sliding a part of a toothpick underneath the contact to get a solid connection. I believe that over the years some of these connectors simply become old, intermittent, then ultimately fail hard...hope this helps.
