HI:
Often the washer nozzles can get clogged. If you hear the washer pump running, you need to disconncect the small hose from the washer nozzle, and see if you get fluid pumped thru it when you hit your washer switch. If so, you need to unclog or replace the nozzle, and if no fluid is pumped out the hose, you need to remove and inspect the washer pump, as it might be dirty, or failed.

Hi Larry, do you have directions to share on how to replace the nozzle? I've got the part, and I thought it was going to simply be a pop the old one off and pop the new one in place, but upon closer inspection, it appears I have to remove the plastic cover and possibly the windshield wiper to get to the end of the hose. But, I don't want to "assume" ;-) Hope you see this - Thank you in advance!

Washer fluid not spraying

Yes, the motor is probably on the bottom of the washer reservoir. It should be on a fused circuit, but the fuse might have other applications, might even be on the wiper fuse. Pull off the connector to the washer motor and check for power with key on and washer switch held on. If power is getting to motor, probably a bad motor. Try one from a salvage yard.

I need to locate the motor for the windshield washer fluid. It is full but not working. You hear nothing when trying it. Where is it located?

It is usually contained in the lower part of the washer fluid tank. Remove the tank and you will discover a two-wire lead going to the motor.

My daughter's 2005 Jeep Liberty's windshield washer fluid won't pump out when you pull the wiper handle back. I don't even hear a motor trying to pump it out. What do you think the problem could be? I...

The only other two options are:-

1) The washer/pump motor has failed, needs replacing.
2) There's a bad contact/connection between switch and motor, check contacts first, clean and make good, if still no go, then you're back to option 1.

2005 Suzuki Forenza Wiper Washer Inop.

first and foremost, check that all your fuses are good. If they are, your next step would be to pull the winshield washer motor out and test it by applying 12 volts from the battery directly to the motor to see if it turns on. if it works then your problem is in the wiring, check that you are getting power to the harness when you turn it on. Now, if the motor does not work while applying battery power, then you need a new washer motor.

your rear wiper motor might be faulty,in the front i would check your fluid level-if it is full and you hear the pump running-check your washer lines to see if they are pinched-usually around where the hood closes
