Pits one of the five door ajar switches. They are located in the door latch mechanism that holds the door closed. The best way to figure out which one it is is to scan the body control module. With all the doors closed. It will tell you which door is giving the open signal. This will need to be done with a high end scan tool that any good shop or the dealer will have.
The most common one to fail is the driver front door.
The stop light switch is sticking. If it's a mechanical one that is operated by the movement of the brake pedal the replace the switch. If a hydraulic one is fitted, remove one wire and see if the stop lights go off. If so then replace the hydraulic switch.
I had a Mazda 626 with a similar problem, the car seemed to 'shut down' with no warning, even at highway speeds, as if I just turned the ignition key to 'Off'; After trying to fix it unsuccessfully by replacing several electrical parts, the problem was found to be a defective ignition switch, it was replaced and the problem went away.
