The fuse for the cigarette lighter and accessory power outlet on your Alero should be located in the engine compartment fuse block. Marked minifuse #34. Good luck!
Remove the coin/change holder from the dash you will find the fuse box
there. On the back of the coin holder you will find a fuse diagram
showing location and amp # for each fuse. when replacing the fuse be
sure to replace it with the same amp#. Should be a 15 amp fuse. First check/replace the fuse. If that doesn't work I would consider replacing the entire cigarette lighter it runs about 12$. Thanks, Lee
Hi everyone I am going to answer this question because I had the same problem and could not find any help with it. The cigarette lighter fuse for 2004 dodge stratus sedan is under the hood in the fuse box it is fuse #2 ~20 amp. The owners manual diagram is so small you cant read what the descriptions are...So I hope this helps you all out!!
Check and make sure there is nothing actually in them. A paper clip or coin may have fallen in one of them causing the fuse to blow as soon as you put a new one in
