Hyundai elantra 2006 when i accelerate i hear a ratteling noise until the car gets into a steady speed. this happens everytime I accelerate. This could be the brake pads dragging or it could be a wheel bearing. You can check one or the other. The wheel bearing is tested by jacking up the car with that wheel off the ground and see if you can rock the wheel side to side or up and down. The way to check the brakes is to take the wheel off and look at the brake pads.
This sounds like a bad pulley, maybe bearings in the waterpump or alternator, you will need to remove belt and spin each pulley to locate and also check for a loose pulley.
sounds like your CV joints are worn out. If the clicking noise gets worse when turning then its a definite possibility. Also check the CV joint boots for splits as this can quickly wear them out. The dust mixes with the grease to form a grinding paste.
