Check engine light. You will need a OBD II reader to retrieve the code.
Please let me know what you found.
My 2003 Toyota 4Runner with 127,600 4X4, V6, check engine light (CEL), Vehicle Skid Control (VSC), and VSC off light went on. Went to Autozone and they did OBDII check. The Trouble Code was showing P0355 Ignition Coil "E" Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction. "E" means cylinder 5, so I went to check the ignition coil at 5th cylinder and unscrewed from block and the connector slip-off and appear to have not been on all the way. I started the truck and still recieved Trouble code until I disconnected the battery for 30 minutes. It started again and the service lights never cam back on. It runs just like it had before great. Check all the connectors before ordering ignition coils.

Check your switches for the VSC, some get bumped on (due to their location) and some get stuck in the "on"position.

NEED TO HAVE COMPUTER CHECK FIND WHAT CODE MADE THE ENGINE KLIGHT COME ON.. AND HAVE IT FIXED,, VSC LIGHTS COME ON BECAUSE THE COMPUTER DEACTIVATES THE VSC AS A SAFETY FEATURE WHEN CK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON

The Trac light comes on automatically, in conjuction with the Check Engine Light. You need your vehicle scanned for DTC codes.

It is not hard to change the sensor, it just screws into a threaded hole. The light will not go out immeditaly, after the sensor is replaced. It needs to go thru a drive cycle. Your best bet is to replace the sensor and get the code cleard by whoever scanned it for the 0031 code.
