2003 Silverado Z71. Has had nothing wrong with it. Drove it fine all day. When I parked it and turned it off I thought I hear a pop sound, sorta like when a fuse blows..now there is nothing..it's completely dead. Anything???

Check the fuel pressure because I have changed many fuel pumps on 1997-2003 Malibus.

sounds like a crank sensor

Faulty starter or bad earth probably

I just went thru same thing with my 2003 f-350 diesel. I hooked up my horse Trailor and drove to Von's parked went in came back out and truck was dead. I tried to jump it didn't work. Then over next two hours two tow truck Drivers hooked up to both batteries full power charge direct to my truck and would not start.
End story required two new batteries alternator and cilanoid discussed above. In other post. Also contributing to the cause was really badly coroded cables they looked good at the connection point but wher discovered to be coroded inside the tubing just above the end connections so bow it has all been replaced and I have had no trouble since. have u checked into getting new sparkplugs, wires, coil/coil packs distributor. could even be a timing issue. id start at these things and c if it helps

one good way to check that the fuel pump is running to listen. take the gas cap of and put you ear the the fuel tank fill neck. have a freind turn the key from the off position to the on position, but do not start the crank the engine over. you should hear a huming or wizzing sound for a few short moments. if you hear that sound the pump is running and more thatn likely pumping fuel.

is the air coming out of the vents cold?

Nothing Wrong there its the Interlock Solinoid for the SHIFTER.

i have an 02 silverado and i had the same type of issue! wound up being a short in a wire running over the gas tank that operates the fuel pump! it would start fine and then it would die! and not start back! then it would start! take it to the dealer and have them check it - however diagnostics will not show a problem unless they can duplicate it!! hope this helps

Seat belt and any warning chimes do not come from the radio, they usually come from a unit under the dash, what you are describing is probabl;y a blown fuse problem. I would checkfuses with a teat light as some fuses may not appear blown.
